![]() ![]() Unfortunately, while the game plays much smoother than the slowdown-laden import-only SFEX3 for PS2, it's still sluggish, with flat, static backgrounds that make the characters look like they're fighting at the school play, and "features" some of the most horrendous loading times seen on the PlayStation. Aside from the addition of the "excel" meter and a couple other minor alterations, this is the same Street Fighter you've come to know and love. While the number of characters has increased to much greater proportions, the gameplay remains largely the same. A couple years pass by and the inevitable sequel arrives. When the first Street Fighter EX was released, everyone sighed a breath of relief that Capcom had finally taken the series out of the 2D realm. ![]()
